The LG ACV34326904 Dishwasher Damper Assembly controls airflow and water flow in the appliance to ensure that water does not return to the sump and that the water cannot flow in a back direction when it is in use. It is also attached to the lower tub outlet in between the drain system and the pump housing and fits between the surrounding seals to ensure the flow direction is right. It sustains regular wash cycles by controlling the movement of water, system balance, and drainage, as well as the overall dishwasher operation.
