Product Description
The Carrier LA11XA048 Draft Inducer Blower Motor is used to aid in combustion and venting of the appliance. It works by overloading the heat exchanger and pushing the exhaust gases through the flue to ensure sufficient draft and safe removal of byproducts of combustion. This motor is installed in the inducer assembly in the area surrounding the heat exchanger section. It assists in the safe ignition and stable operation of the burner and proper ventilation operation of the appliance by maintaining constant negative pressure and exhaust flow.
