Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the dryer should be disconnected by either unplugging it from the outlet or shutting off the breaker in your home’s electrical panel.

Step 2: The dryer door should be opened and the right hand glide kit should be identified. This component is situated on the left side of the dryer drum assembly’s interior.

Step 3: The screws or nuts securing the right hand glide kit should be removed. A Phillips head screwdriver should be employed for this procedure.

Step 4: The right hand glide kit should be carefully extracted from its position.

Step 5: The new glide kit should be examined for any indications of damage.

Step 6: The new glide kit should be positioned into the drum assembly opening. It should be confirmed that the glide kit is firmly secured.

Step 7: The screws or nuts that were previously taken off should be reattached. The new kit should be fastened using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 8: The power to the dryer should be restored.

Step 9: The dryer should be operated to verify that the new glide kit functions correctly.
