The Inovate DWV4B-NC Dryer Wall Vent 4'' Flush Mount, No Collar is intended to direct the air that comes out of the appliance via an opening made in the exterior wall. It is able to mount into the 4-inch vent opening provided and fit within the wall. The vent is attached to the dryer and is held in place during the running of the dryer and is attached to it using the suitable mounting points and is linked with an attached duct system to discharge the air.
