The UEI Corporation INF165C Infrared Thermometer 12:1 is used in infrared energy emitted by the target part to provide readings of the temperature on the surface. Its distance-to-spot ratio of 12:1 enables it to read in small areas as each spot is at an easy distance. The instrument presents the measurements on a digital interface, which is easy to refer to when making inspections. It is used in electrical testing to determine the operating temperatures and detect anomalies by simply pointing and reading.
