Product Description
The Supco IG418 Furnace Hot Surface Igniter is used to generate the heat required for igniting fuel within systems. It is positioned near the burner assembly where it aligns with the gas outlet path and mounts through a bracket connected to the ignition wiring circuit. The igniter provides electrical current through lead terminals that energize the heating element until ignition temperature is reached. It enables burner startup, maintains ignition, supports combustion initiation and coordinates heat activation timing within the system heating performance during use.
