The Supco IG403K Furnace Universal Hot Surface Igniter is used to generate heat for igniting fuel within appliance burner systems. It is installed near the burner section where it aligns with the gas flow outlet and is secured through a mounting bracket connected to the ignition circuit wiring. The component is provided with electrical input through lead terminals that activate the heating element to reach ignition temperature.
