The Hisense WK0043115 Refrigerator Heater Evaporator is a defrost-heater structure is used to defrost the evaporator coils. It operates with the support of electric current through a heating coil during the defrost mode to heat the evaporator and turn the ice gathered back into water. Fitted to or beneath the evaporator in the freezer compartment, it makes sure that the coils do not accumulate thick ice. It allows maintaining the stability of the cooling operation and avoiding the obstructions of airflow by facilitating the removal of frost.
