Installation Steps

Step 1: First, the main water supply should be turned off and the electrical power to your refrigerator should be deactivated.

Step 2: The water line should be detached from the rear of the refrigerator. If equipped with a saddle valve, the line shutoff feature should be utilized.

Step 3: The filter should be carefully extracted from its housing.

Step 4: For the new filter installation, its arrow should be oriented to match the water flow direction and it should be inserted into the housing until it is fully seated.

Step 5: The clamps on both sides of the filter should be fastened using a screwdriver.

Step 6: The water line should be reattached to the back of the refrigerator.

Step 7: The main water supply should be restored and the electrical power to the refrigerator should be reactivated.

Step 8: The filter should be purged for approximately two minutes to eliminate any debris.

Step 9: Water should be dispensed from the water dispenser or ice maker, monitoring for leaks at the connections.

Step 10: You’re finished! The refreshing taste of filtered water should be savored.
