The Grindmaster A548-154 Lid Assembly is the main sealing/brew-through surface to the shuttle and forms a closed system that provides adequate filling and heat retention safety. It fits into the upper collar of the shuttle, and the built-in tube and gasket are aligned with the inlet of the brewer to push coffee into the vessel without taking the lid off. With stabilization of internal pressure, reduction of heat loss, and sanitary control of flow, the assembly ensures that in an operation, there is consistency in the brewing process, safety in handling, and dispensing reliability.
