The Grindmaster 86439 Coffee Grinder Cap 380 Aluminum Polished protects the opening of the grinding chamber and controls the flow of beans into the assembly to prevent spillage of the ground and to prevent excessive access during the grinding. Its shape interfaces with the appliance head, which provides it with a stable closure, compatible internal openings, and prevents the displacement of objects. It is placed over the grinder inlet with the seat being on the housing and attached to other components such that the grinding process is contained and the direction of the beans into the burrs.
