The Grindmaster 320-00065 Cheesemelters Heating Element Quartz 500W 120 V converts electrical energy into radiant heat to heat the surfaces in an appliance. It fits in the heating chamber and fits into mounting brackets and electrical terminals such that after activation the constant amount of thermal power is produced by current flowing through the quartz tube over the entire melt area. Upon gaining energy, it emits heat to the lower and outer direction of food products. It is placed at the upper part of the interior of the cheesemelter housing to allow even heat distribution when under normal operation.
