The Grindmaster 320-00010 Decanter Brewer Element 120 V/1500W B-Series uses the electric power to heat the water to the brewing temperature by use of electric power to convert the heat to thermal energy in the decanter brewing system. Upon energizer activation, the element increases and keeps the water temperature within the brew cycle as it passes through, to fulfil the extraction conditions. It is installed in the brew chamber or base assembly of compatible B-Series decanter brewers and used together with the control circuitry and sensors to control the amount of heat input during the brewing process.
