The Grindmaster 235-00014 Washer Agitator Tube Assembly 26 S/S -F is a structural shaft that conveys the torque of the drive system of the appliance to the agitator paddles in wash cycles. It is mounted on the wash basket vertically, with the transmission splines being used below and the agitator parts being used above and connected with fasteners. The tube assembly provides the rigid linkage that is needed to permit a coordinated movement of the paddles such that controlled agitation patterns and fluid movement can be enhanced.
