The General Electric WR97X30613 Refrigerator Lokring 1/4 -1/4 Brass Connector with Schrader is utilized to connect and seal refrigerant tubing in the closed cooling system. It works by fitting around the tubing to form a tight, leak-free fit, and the included Schrader valve enables the pressure to be measured and the refrigerant to be filled. This assists in maintaining the proper system pressure and facilitates efficient cooling. It is installed in the closed refrigerant line between the larger appliances, such as the compressor and condenser in such a way that close connections exist and the servicing can be regulated when the appliances are in normal operation.
