The GE WR87X33627 Refrigerator Evaporator Assembly is the primary cooling unit that absorbs the heat from the fresh food, and freezer areas. It comprises a system of tubes that are finned, and refrigerant flows through them to extract heat out of the air inside the interior. The installation of the assembly is to be done behind the back panel of the freezer and connected to the refrigerant lines, and fan system of the refrigerator. It allows the effective exchange of heat, and distribution of cold air which facilitates the maintenance of stable internal temperature.
