The General Electric WR85X39480 Refrigerator Evaporator cools by taking away the heat from the inside of the appliance. It pumps refrigerant into a system of coils which enable cold air to develop and circulate in the freezer. It has been placed behind an internal panel where it collaborates with the fan and compressor to ensure that the temperatures remain constant. The replacement of a broken evaporator will restore adequate cooling of the product, prevent warm spots, and maintain food at safe temperatures.
