The General Electric WR14X26263 Refrigerator Evaporator Cover & Fan Assembly is installed in the freezer compartment of the appliance to blow the air and also cover the evaporator coil to maintain a uniform temperature in the appliance. This distributes the cold air generated by the evaporator to the freezer and fridge sections to give even cooling. It works by drawing air across the evaporator coil using the fan fitted in it and pushing the cooled air out via vents.
