The General Electric WD21X32478 Dishwasher Configured Top UI Control W/Cover manages the wash cycles with an in-built electronic interface. It transmits cycle commands to internal control systems to process sensor inputs to regulate the washing, rinsing and drying process. These touch points and buttons are used to communicate with the dishwasher control board to ensure programs are properly executed. It is located at the top of the front panel to prevent internal circuitry exposure to water and debris.
