The General Electric WB31K10250 Range Grate-Cast Left is designed to support cookware over a burner on an appliance. It aids in holding pots and pans using a cast iron grid system, which places the bottom of the goods directly over the fire to transfer heat, and prevents pots and pans from tipping over during cooking. The grate has openings that are aligned with burner heads to provide uniform coverage of flame under cookware bottoms.
