The General Electric WB28X29391 Cooktop INJET Assembly regulates the flow of gas to the surface burner to provide control of ignition and flame distribution. It is fitted in the burner housing of the cooktop, between the gas supply manifold and the burner head, using special fittings. The assembly is programmed to have an injector orifice that is sized to measure the amount of gas in coordination with the settings of control valves. The positioning in the burner system provides a uniform supply of the gas and proper air-fuel mixing to maintain a steady flame.
