The General Electric WB18X33154 Oven Latch Communication Wire Harness is used to connect the oven latch mechanism with the control system. It is mainly used to send position and status messages that are used in locking and unlocking the door. The harness is based on insulated wiring with installed connectors to conduct low-voltage signals between parts. It is fitted on the inside of the oven cabinet and is wired between the latch assembly and the electronic control panel. It facilitates correct latch communication, coordinated self-clean functioning, and dependable door lock functioning.
