The General Electric FXHTC Carbon Taste and Odor Water filter is an element of filtration that reduces the chlorine flavour, odor, and particles in the water entering the supply through the use of activated carbon filters. It is fitted in compatible filtration systems, fitted inside the filter housing unit, and aligned with inlet and outlet flow channels to allow water to pass through. The filter is connected to the system housing and plumbing connections to ensure that the flow remains sealed. It allows controlled reduction of contaminants and consistent operation throughout the regular water filtration cycles.
