The General Electric FQROPF Reverse Osmosis Filter Kit is a replacement filtration assembly designed to fit compatible under-sink water purification systems. It involves a multi-stage treatment process to minimize sediment, chlorine, dissolved solids and any other contaminant and then water is discharged. The kit that is installed within the filtration housing assists in the correct functioning of the membranes and regulates the water flow within the filtration system. It is useful for regular water usage, food preparation, and ice production.

Installation Steps
Step 1: The water supply to the Reverse Osmosis Filter System should be shut off. This can be accomplished by either closing the main water valve or the shut-off valve positioned at the water filter system's inlet.
Step 2: The water feed tubes should be detached from both the inlet and outlet valves of the reverse osmosis filter system.
Step 3: The filter housing cap situated at the base of the filter system should be removed by unscrewing it.
Step 4: The old filters should be extracted from the filter system.
Step 5: The new filter should be inserted into the vacant filter housing and the cap should be reattached by screwing it on.
Step 6: The water line tubing should be reattached to the inlet and outlet valves.
Step 7: The main water valve or the shut-off valve should be reactivated.
Step 8: The water should be allowed to flow through the reverse osmosis filter system for several minutes. This will clear out any leftover debris that could be in the filter housing.
Step 9: The water pressure should be assessed and leaks should be inspected at the inlet and outlet valves.
Step 10: You are now set to enjoy your clean, filtered water. It should ensure that your filters are replaced regularly, as advised by the manufacturer.
