Installation Steps
Step 2: The fridge should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.
Step 3: The filter housing cover should be found and detached, typically situated inside the fridge on the rear wall.
Step 4: The old filter should be rotated to the left to release it, then pulled out directly.
Step 5: The new Frigidaire FPPWFU01 filter should be obtained and the arrows at the bottom of the filter should be aligned with the arrow on the filter housing.
Step 6: The new filter should be inserted into the filter housing.
Step 7: The filter should be rotated to the right to secure it in position.
Step 8: The filter cover should be reattached and the fridge should be reconnected to the power.
Step 9: The change filter indicator light should be reset, if necessary.
Step 10: The system should be purged by passing 3 gallons of water through the filter prior to using it for drinking or cooking.
