The Fisher & Paykel 577199 Range Gas Cock X 0.63 TR is used to control the amount of natural gas flowing to the burner system of the appliance depending on control settings. It is fitted to the side gas manifold of the range, it is interposed in the incoming gas supply and the respective burner feed tubes by threaded fittings. The gas cock is designed with a turn-to-open valve design and closed interfaces to ensure controlled flow. It regulates the supply of gas to the burners to facilitate steady ignition and steady heat production throughout the regular cooking and baking operating process.
