The Fasco A078 Furnace Draft Inducer Blower Motor provides airflow within the combustion chamber and the vent in a way. It is to evacuate the gases of combustion out of the heat exchanger and in the burner assembly to force fresh air into the burner assembly preceding and during ignition. It is mounted inside the combustion air system of the furnace, and it is aligned with the inducer assembly and is attached at specific mounting locations. When installed, it assists in keeping the air flowing in the right direction for proper ignition ordering.
