Installation Steps
Step 1: Your tools should be assembled. A Phillips head screwdriver, needle-nose pliers, and a replacement FAB30598601 customized screw are necessary.
Step 2: Your LG washer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet. For enhanced safety, the breaker controlling your washer’s power in the circuit panel should be switched off to avoid electric shock.
Step 3: The customized screw that needs to be swapped should be identified. It will be located at the back of the washer near the upper left corner.
Step 4: The defective screw should be extracted using the Phillips head screwdriver. The needle-nose pliers should be kept close by in case assistance is needed for the screw to be removed.
Step 5: The new customized screw should be placed into the same opening. It should be tightened using the Phillips head screwdriver.
Step 6: Your LG washer should be reconnected to the power supply. The breaker switch should be restored to its original position.
Step 7: The washer's functionality should be verified by running a cycle to ensure it operates correctly.
