Installation Steps

Step 1: The LG Washer is disconnected from the electrical outlet and it is ensured that all water supply hoses are detached.

Step 2: A towel or another soft fabric is positioned beneath the washer to safeguard it from potential harm during the repair.

Step 3: The screws that hold the back panel of the washer in place are taken out with a wrench. The panel is gently placed aside for future use.

Step 4: The SHIPPING BOLT - LONG on the rear of the washer is identified. It is typically found close to the drain hose outlet.

Step 5: The old SHIPPING BOLT - LONG is eliminated using an adjustable wrench.

Step 6: The new SHIPPING BOLT - LONG is installed by securely fastening it with an adjustable wrench.

Step 7: The washer's back panel is reattached and it is fastened using the screws removed in step 3.

Step 8: The water supply hoses are reconnected and the washer is plugged back into the electrical outlet.

Step 9: A test of the washer is conducted to verify the success of the repair.
