Installation Steps

Step 1: The water supply directed to the refrigerator is shut off. The water pipe located behind or within the lower part of the refrigerator is found.

Step 2: The water filter housing is identified and the cap is detached by unscrewing it. The existing filter is removed.

Step 3: The new EPTWFU01 Frigidaire refrigerator water filter is removed from its packaging and the protective sleeve is eliminated.

Step 4: The new filter is placed into the water filter housing and the housing cap is reattached by screwing it back on.
