The Electrolux 8581341966035 Dryer Drive Motor W/Pulley converts electrical power into rotational movement to turn the appliance drum through the attached pulley and drive belt. It is installed in the lower section of the dryer cabinet, where the motor pulley connects with the belt routed around the drum & supporting rollers. It rotates the pulley causing the belt to move and rotate the drum and this continuous mechanical motion keeps laundry tumbling through the heated airflow inside the cabinet.
