The Electrolux 5304518520 Refrigerator Defrost Heater is used to clear and melt frost and ice on the evaporator coils. It consists of heating regularly and then avoiding excessive frost formation and the heater will be mounted on the evaporator coil assembly and is connected to the defrost control system and wiring harness. It heats the coils when required, assists in proper airflow in the cooling system, and assists in maintaining uniform temperatures and effective operation when providing regular refrigeration.
