The Electrolux 5304499337 Cooktop Burner Knob White provides the user interface for selecting and setting the amount of heat that an appliance burner control shaft emits. It is mounted on the control panel and extends into the indexed shaft of the respective valve stem and is positioned to line up with detent positions. The knob is set with an inside spline profile to the control stem with a proper fit and rotational position. This allows controlled burner output and steady heat control throughout regular cooking cycles, as manual input to the gas or electric control valve is made accurate.
