The Electrolux 318053132 Range Oven Door Gasket prevents heat from escaping the appliance cavity during operation. It is a thermal insulating panel between the kitchen and the inside of the oven and molded to the shape of the door frame with an end that folds in when closing the door and compresses against the oven body. It is installed on the inner rim of the door of the appliance and is inserted in the existing channel. The seal is also maintained constantly, which will allow it to maintain constant internal temperatures and enhance efficiency in cooking.
