The Electrolux 316247300 Range Vent Smoke Eliminator filters airflow to eliminate smoke and airborne particles that are produced during cooking. It is mounted between the fan motor and the external exhaust within the range hood or vent assembly, where it is attached to ducting and internal airflow routes. The unit captures grease and smoke particles but does not stop any air from flowing through the fan and exhaust system. It will synchronize with the ventilation system, and this will assist in the regular airflow, smoke evacuation, and regular functioning of the range hood.
