The Electrolux 0C1186 Steam Oven Condenser 31.5 MFD uses excess steam to make liquid by cooling and the exhaust airstream as it is used. It absorbs moisture on its surface and has dielectric properties to pull moisture in warm vapor, which is channeled to drain paths. It assists in controlling the removal of steam, which lets the cooking conditions remain the same and avoids excess moisture. The condenser is mounted in the back or side ventilation chamber in the appliance and it is part of the duct system and drain fittings in the design of the oven.
