The Electrolux 087334 Refrigerator Thermal Expansion Valve controls the refrigerant flow into the evaporator according to temperature and pressure state. The valve has a sensing bulb and an internal metering orifice, which regulate flow according to the variation in conditions. It is fitted to the closed refrigerant line between the evaporator coils and the condenser, and is connected to the system tubing.
