Installation Steps

Step 1: Your refrigerator should be disconnected from its power supply prior to starting.

Step 2: The filter compartment should be identified, which is typically situated at the top, back, or bottom-right area of the refrigerator.

Step 3: The filter cap should be taken off by either twisting it counterclockwise or pulling it away.

Step 4: The old filter should be extracted.

Step 5: The new EDR4RXD1 Whirlpool Refrigerator Ice and Water Filter 4 should be obtained and the plastic covering should be taken off.

Step 6: The new filter should be placed into the cap and rotated clockwise until it is firmly in position.

Step 7: The filter cap should be reattached and turned clockwise to secure it.

Step 8: Your refrigerator should be reconnected to the power supply.

Step 9: The water filter should be run for 3 minutes before utilizing it.

Step 10: If needed, the “change filter” light on your refrigerator should be reset.
