Step 1: The refrigerator should be disconnected from the electrical outlet. It is essential to ensure that the power source is disconnected before any electrical device is worked on for safety purposes.
Step 2: The front panel of the refrigerator should be taken off. The flathead screwdriver should be utilized to loosen and extract the screws securing the front panel of the refrigerator. The now-free panel should be carefully detached and placed in a secure area.
Step 3: The screws from the motor assembly should be removed. Two screws are attached to the assembly that need to be taken out using the Philips head screwdriver. After these screws are taken off, the flathead screwdriver should be employed to detach the two wires linking the assembly to the refrigerator’s main body.
Step 4: The new motor assembly should be placed. The wires for the new motor assembly should be gently connected, and then it should be securely fastened using the Philips head screwdriver.
Step 5: The front panel should be reattached. It should ensure that the panel is securely fastened and screwed back into position.
