Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord is disconnected from the electrical outlet or the circuit breaker that provides power to the dryer is deactivated.

Step 2: The dryer is carefully pulled out and positioned on its back with the rear side facing up.

Step 3: The screws securing the adhesive lint filter are taken off to expose the old bearing.

Step 4: A flathead screwdriver is utilized to detach the screws from the bearing assembly and it is removed from the dryer.

Step 5: The new rear drum bearing is inserted into the dryer, ensuring the grooves in the bearing are aligned with those in the dryer.

Step 6: The bearing is fastened by tightening the screws using a flathead screwdriver.

Step 7: The adhesive lint filter is reinstalled and secured with the screws that were taken out previously.

Step 8: The dryer is moved back to its initial position and it is plugged in or the power is turned on.
