Product Description

The Whirlpool DRNEXT4 Washer Outer Drain line is a 4-foot auxiliary line that connects to your washing machine's current drain pipe. It is often composed of black, corrugated plastic and is intended to be kink-resistant for improved water flow. This house is utilised when the built-in drain hose is insufficiently long to reach a drainpipe, floor drain, or utility sink. Installation is relatively simple and requires only basic tools. Attaching the DRNEXT4 hose to the existing drain hose and fastening it to the drain outlet allows you to drain your washer water without having to make any changes to your plumbing or washer placement.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The water supply is shut off. To accomplish this, the shut-off valve is found and rotated clockwise to deactivate.

Step 2: A bucket or basin is positioned beneath the current hose connection to collect any residual water that may escape.

Step 3: An adjustable wrench is utilized to untighten the nut that links the current hose to the Whirlpool DRNEXT4.

Step 4: The old hose is removed from the appliance and disposed of.

Step 5: The new hose is taken and connected to the appliance. It is ensured that the connection is firm and secure prior to moving forward.

Step 6: The other end of the hose is inserted into the faucet and the connection is secured tightly.

Step 7: The water supply is restored, any leaks are inspected, and then the Whirlpool DRNEXT4 is verified for correct functionality.

Step 8: After confirming everything is operational, the water supply is shut off and any tools utilized for future use are put away.
