The Danby DG12-177-1 Ice Maker Evaporator Module-DIM is used to dissipate heat in the ice-making system to form and discharge ice cubes effectively. It is installed in the ice maker assembly of the appliance and circulates refrigerant to the surface to quickly melt the ice in the mold. After the cubes have attained the proper temperature, the module heats a bit to dispense them into the bin.
