The Deflecto Corporation ELBS049030 Dryer Vent Elbow 4" x 90 is used to redirect airflow in a 4-inch vent system where the duct must change direction at a right angle. This component is installed between two sections of rigid or semi-rigid vent pipe and forms a 90-degree turn to guide exhaust air/lint from the dryer toward the wall or exit duct. During operation, air passes through the elbow while maintaining a sealed duct connection that keeps the vent system continuous. The rigid elbow is positioned at the bend point of the installation to fit tight spaces and align misdirected duct runs.
