Step 1: The Samsung DE81-02580A SVC-SPILL PROTECTOR W/GASKET should be disconnected from the power source and the power supply should be deactivated.
Step 2: All screws that hold the outer panels of the appliance should be taken out.
Step 3: The panel should be gently elevated to access the SVC-Spill Protector.
Step 4: The current spill protector should now be able to be seen. All screws that fasten the protector in position should be gently extracted.
Step 5: The mounting plate should be detached from the rear of the spill protector.
Step 6: The old spill protector should be carefully taken off from the unit.
Step 7: The new spill protector should be positioned onto the mounting plate.
Step 8: The new spill protector should be firmly secured in its location.
Step 9: The mounting plate should be reattached to the rear of the spill protector.
Step 10: All screws should be reinserted to fasten the protector in position.
Step 11: The outer panel of the appliance should be carefully put back and all screws should be reinserted to secure the panel in position.
Step 12: The power supply should be reactivated and the Samsung DE81-02580A SVC-Spill Protector W/Gasket should be reconnected.
