The Samsung DE47-00034A Microwave Thermostat monitors the internal heat and also switches off the power supply when the desired thermal temperature is reached in the element to prevent excess heating in the component. It is attached to the cavity or magnetron housing, where it connects with the internal wiring harness and protective mounting brackets to detect heat generation during use. Set to operate as a high limit thermostat with a rating of volts and cutoff, it closes the circuit under conditions of excessively high temperature, and opens the circuit when conditions are normal, allowing operation cycles of a microwave and thermal safety control.
