Installation Steps

Step 1: The dishwasher should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and all power supplies should be disabled.

Step 2: The dishwasher door should be opened and the screws located behind the kick plate that hold the bottom cover panel should be found.

Step 3: Any screws fastening the bottom cover panel should be taken out, then the panel should be gently pulled away to expose the inside of the appliance.

Step 4: The dry duct assembly should be identified and the screws that hold it in place should be taken out. A flathead screwdriver may be needed.

Step 5: The old dry duct assembly should be gently extracted and disposed of.

Step 6: The new dry duct assembly should be positioned into the designated area and fastened with the screws that were previously removed.

Step 7: The power connection should be re-established and the dishwasher should be plugged back in.

Step 8: The power should be activated and the dishwasher should be checked to confirm that the new dry duct assembly operates correctly.

Step 9: The bottom cover panel should be reattached and secured with the screws that were taken out earlier.

Step 10: Power should be reinstated to the dishwasher and a test cycle should be conducted to verify that everything functions as intended.
