Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the dishwasher is deactivated by switching off the circuit breaker and disconnecting the unit from the outlet. If the dishwasher is plugged into a wall socket, it is ensured that the breaker for that socket is off.

Step 2: The dishwasher is slid forward from the wall and the lower access panel is taken off.

Step 3: The motor pump, which is situated at the bottom of the dishwasher towards the rear, is identified.

Step 4: A towel or similar absorbent material is positioned on the floor beneath the pump to capture any water that may leak.

Step 5: The four screws securing the motor pump are unscrewed using a screwdriver.

Step 6: The power wires are detached from the motor pump.

Step 7: The old oil shaft seal is extracted from the motor pump. The surrounding area of the seal is thoroughly cleaned with a rag or cotton swab.

Step 8: The new oil shaft seal is inserted into the motor pump.

Step 9: The power wires are reconnected to the motor pump.

Step 10: The four screws that fasten the motor pump in position are secured.

Step 11: The lower access panel is reinstalled and the dishwasher is slid back into its original position.

Step 12: The unit is reconnected to the power source and the circuit breaker is switched on.
