Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to commencing the replacement of the lever holder catch assembly, a few tools must be collected. The following will be required: Phillips screwdriver, Pliers, New DC97-07510B Samsung Dryer Door Lever Holder Catch Assembly. After the needed tools have been assembled, the power to the dryer must be disconnected by unplugging it or switching off the circuit breaker.

Step 2: With your screwdriver, the four screws that hold the top of the dryer panel must be taken out. The panel must be gently lifted to reach the underside of the dryer door. Next, the old lever holder catch assembly must be identified. Your pliers must be utilized to detach the catch assembly from the dryer door.

Step 3: The new lever holder catch assembly must be grabbed and the prongs must be inserted into the slots found on the dryer door. Then, the new assembly must be fastened using the two screws included in the kit.
