The Samsung DC66-00887B Washer Pulsator Cap is used to cover the pulsator and at the same time regulate the flow of water for effective washing. Step 1: The washer is disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply is turned off.
Step 2: The agitator cap located at the top of the washer is taken off. For this, a screwdriver is utilized to remove the four screws securing the cap.
Step 3: After the screws are taken out, the cap is elevated from the washer and placed aside.
Step 4: The new pulsator cap, DC66-00887B, is positioned into the opening on the upper part of the washer.
Step 5: The new cap is fastened by reattaching it with the same four screws that were used to detach the previous pulsator cap.
Step 6: The washer lid is reinstalled and the water supply is restored. Lastly, the washer is reconnected to the electrical outlet and its operation is verified.
