Installation Steps

Step 1: The power source is turned off. The dryer is disconnected from the outlet to guarantee that all energy to the unit is ceased.

Step 2: The dryer is detached from the venting system, and it is shifted away from the wall to enable access to the back of the appliance.

Step 3: The existing thermostat is identified. Two or three wires will be linked to the component.

Step 4: The wires are extracted from the terminals of the existing thermostat. The wires are withdrawn from the terminal, and the screws securing the thermostat are unfastened.

Step 5: The new DC47-00015A Samsung Dryer 250V THERMOSTAT is installed in the same location as the old one.

Step 6: The wires are reattached to their corresponding terminals on the new thermostat, ensuring that the screws are tightened firmly.

Step 7: The dryer is slid back against the wall and it is verified that the venting system is securely connected.

Step 8: The dryer is reconnected to the wall outlet and the power supply is switched on.

Step 9: The new thermostat is evaluated by operating a cycle in the dryer. It is confirmed that the temperature reaches the required levels.

Step 10: After everything is configured and tested, the back panel of the dryer may be reinstalled to secure the new thermostat.
